Medicare’s Commercial Repayment Center (CRC) updates mailing address for Non-Group Health Plan (NGHP) Medicare Secondary Payer (MSP) correspondence

CMS has announced it will be holding a Benefits Coordination & Recovery Center and Commercial Repayment Center Non-Group Health Plan town hall on April 1, 2021.

On 9/24, CMS and the CRC held a webinar on redetermination requests as part of the administrative appeals process for conditional payment disputes of non-group health plans.

On 8/9/19, the Commercial Repayment Center hosted a conference call to discuss the handling of conditional payment letters versus conditional payment notices.

Starting 4/1/19, CMS’s Coordination of Benefits and Recovery Program program will mask the social security number (SSN) and SSN-portion of the health insurance claim number on all ongoing letters.
